Statagies for Coping with Fragrance Sensitivities
Some ideas and suggestions for coping with fragrance sensitivities. Sensitivities vary so all suggestions may not be helpful to you. You can probably come up with a few of your own to add.
1. Replace household products with fragrance free and less toxic products.
2. Choose personal care products that do not contain fragrance. Check labels as many "unscented" and "fragrance free" products still contain "masking fragrance".
3. Choose off peak times to shop.
4. Educate your family, friends, and coworkers on fragrance sensitivity.
5. Make sure your workspace is well ventilated.
6. Join a support group if one is available in your area or if you have online access there are quite a few available.
