You can look at the fragrance issue from a personal, scientific or any level
you wish and the thing you will see is devastation and the potential for
worsening of these problems.

Many people are virtual hermits in their home due to the toxic effects from
the chemicals in the fragrances on the market and NO ONE in our government
cares and NO ONE is doing anything to examine the toxicity or to look at the
numbers of people out of work due to the fact they can not be around these
horrible poisons.  YES, poison, they are poison to people with migraines,
asthma, mcs and yes, even to those who think they have NO symptoms from these
poisons.  It is only a matter of time for the healthy person, also.

PLEASE force labeling of these "perfumed agents" to be just what they are
POISON.  They are not safe for humans or other living organisms.

It is time that SOME government agency wake up to the issue of indoor air
quality on the health of Americans, stand up and take issue with corporations
getting rich at the expense of American health, and force safety testing and
labeling of these poisons.  I realize that labeling is only a start, but it
is one step toward the goal of keeping fragranced products out of public life
so that all don't have to be ill from them, and some of us in hibernation can
have some sembelance of a normal life.  These things are a bigger health
hazard than cigarettes.  We who are made ill by these agents are NOT willing
to sit  quietly by for years and continue to be made sicker and sicker!!!!
We must have action NOW!!!

Sincerely,

Christa Garrett, RN
